Sensory Spaces - Euroshop 2005

2005/02/25

sense concept

We asked ourselves how the perception via the five sensors of the human being is working and how communication can be supported with all senses especially on a trade fair/exhibition stand.

We want to exemplary explain each of the five sensors and differentiate and stimulate reflection. The Euroshop in Düsseldorf offers an extraordinary platform to do this. There are all important businesses from Sales Promotion up to the Exhibition design which offers huge possibilities to compare. We want to train the sensorial perception and make it more conscious in all fields.

sense stations

To achieve this aim we have developed five "sensorial-stations". These sensorial-stations are supposed to introduce to communication in a playful way.

The sensuous perception will be tested. They only work through the interaction between human being and the architectural system. Questions shall arise over the contents and encourage the search for concrete possibilities. They are between the visitor and the "fair-"experience and thus link and provocation at the same time.
